The Inkers – make your mark is a new national emerging talent program designed to retain, develop and empower young professionals in the print, packaging, publishing, signage, media and manufacturing sectors.
The program is brought to you by the Visual Media Association (VMA) and proudly sponsored by Platinum Partner Konica Minolta. It is the industry’s first structured, nationally coordinated support initiative focused on apprentices, trainees, cadets, and young professionals who have worked in the sector for five years or less.
The Inkers program delivers practical value through four key pillars:
- Skills Development – including workshops, site tours, and digital literacy training
- Mentorship & Intergenerational Leadership – supported by MISA’s Mentorship Pilot
- Networking & Local Representation – including state-based events and Marker leadership
- Recognition & Visibility – through storytelling campaigns and national engagement
Markers are the official emerging leaders in each region, forming an advisory committee that brings the voice of young talent into strategic planning.
This ReadyReckoner provides a clear overview of how to get involved, what the program offers, and how we are shaping the future together.
